I think if I had to pick my favourite Charlie song it would have to be Don’t Look Back, absolutely love this song, the guitar work and the feel of the song just really touches me....

I'm working on a tour history of the Doobie Brothers, who toured with Charlie as opener in the summer of 1977.

Does anyone happen to know the venues for the shows listed below? Charlie may have played additional dates in July, August or even beyond that. I'm simply going by an advert I saw in Billboard Magazine from June of 1977.

Hi to everyone on the forum.  I recently came across an acetate by the Wells Street Blues Band. I think it must be the one John Anderson was in.  The tracks are "All These Blues" and "I Can't Quit You Baby".  Does anyone know these tracks or heard of the acetate or session?  Maybe John can confirm or add to the story.  Even about the mispelling on the acetate!

Recent update from Terry T (today actually, so 'hot off the press').

Floating World records have just reissued Kitchens of Distinction with a bonus CD, comprising of 4 demos with Terry Slessor (singing Lampshade songs), a couple of songs he demoed but never took and further, plus 'Oh, Boris' ( both Julian C and Martin S played on this).

Terry's still writing songs, talking to Julian and sees Martin fairly regularly.

any detail/info on that super-strat in the video?  Thanks!

Every year a list of artists is selected for induction into the RRHOF which drives a lot of people crazy, including me. A few years ago, I tried to see if Charlie was listed and didn't find them. I re-looked today, and they were listed in 2002 about 25 years after the release of their first album. As a fan it was nice to see that they were listed and got some recognition.     

Enjoying Thanksgiving Day and watching the Macy's Parade this morning and a float with the remnants of the band Foreigner appear on a float playing, I Want To Know What Love Is, as Mick Jones is the only original member. Just had to laugh as we all remember who opened for this band in their heyday. Charlie was also on top back then and despite what happened to them at the end of that tour, their music also endures to this day.   

Who was the keyboard player in the "Its Inevitable" video era??

Feedback I've just received today from Terry T

I'm pleased to hear people are requesting more stuff, however let's put this into context .....the world wide sales of Elysium stand at 461 ....I do have more stuff, but honestly I don't have the drive to finish them to a standard I would be happy with . I don't have any other songs I have finished.
I'm always pleased to hear from you, but honestly I don't see any meaningful interest in Charlie (or me) apart from your good self and a few others.
Until I get inspired by whatever, I'm taking a break.

A few years ago I posted that Charlie should be on I Tunes and I decided to see if they were on there yet and was surprised to see 8 albums that are now available. So go download and listen and enjoy one of the best rock vocal groups of all time. I thought this site was gone, glad it's still here. 

Only discovered Charlie recently.  How they have escaped widespread fame and fortune, heaven only knows.

So like most of you, I ordered a copy of Elysium as soon as it came out. A whole new CD's worth of new CHarlie songs, what's not to like? So imagine my surprise when I found out that there was a release containing 2 CDs of new songs for Elysium. Was I the only one who didn't know this? How many other fans did not know this as well? Yup, there is a whole other CD with even more songs. SO what happened? Was the 2 CD  supposed to be a limited release or something? Which is the official release? Just curious is all!
