Cant we start talking and bantering more on here to get TT out and performing for us diehard Charlie aficionados???
Recently made a new Spotify playlist of all my fave tracks and it is now by far the most heavily played............just great riffs and melodies along with spiky lyrics. Come on Tel we need to see you 'live'.........am sure the tracks from 'Kitchens' would be awesome in a tight little venue!
I (like lots of others) are in total agreement with your comments, but I'm guessing there's more chance of pigs flying, than seeing CHARLIE perform together again (the original band members) !!
TT did perform at a gig in London (Feb 2012), under TT's present band - 'Fabulous Lampshades'. Unfortunately, living in Aberdeen (Scotland), I wasn't able to attend.
If you ping an email to charliefan@hotmail.co.uk, I might be able to send you something of interest from that evening.
Peter, just thinking out loud but how does this sound as an idea ?
Why don't we the fans book Charlie/FL/TT to do a show ? We can book the hall/venue of the bands choice so it makes it as easy as possible for the band to travel.
All we need to do is book a hall/venue which is not as expensive as you might think, a PA, lights, desk and someone to mix it which I might be able to help with, and some publicity to let people know.
As long as we guarantee the band the fee they want and as long as those who have said they want to see Charlie live put their money where their mouth is, I see not reason why it cannot be done.
We could also get Charle/FL to support Charlie and get a double dose.
As long as the band are willing to do a one off, I will do all I can to see it happen
I would also be more than willing to take a hit financially to see then one more because I love music and I love Charlie.
Perhaps we could offer a package that would include a meet and greet, photo's and a souvenir pass, t-shirt or badge of the event. All money would go to cover costs and any left over can go to the band.
The event can also be recorded and filmed for a future CD/DVD release .
Everything would be transparent from the beginning and the band can be as involved as they want.
I would also be willing to put the money up front to the band depending on how much it is.
Either way I would like to think that it could all be worked out between us so we all get to see Charlie one more time.
Would you like to run it past TT, and see if he is up for it please ?
In fact there is still a tentative 'offer' (suggestion is maybe a better word) from a promoter in Vegas for a show, but we are still waiting for something even vaguely concrete before really considering it.
Obviously even a small selection of dates would make any such prospect that much more feasible.
Issues remain, of course, but it's great to know such support and interest remains and I'll be sure to pass that info along, yes.
Many thanks.
Best,
Julian"
I'm guessing you (and no doubt all us other European 'Charlie-ites') were hoping for something on our side of the 'pond'.
Either way, fingers crossed 'we' do see a reunion
Regards,
Peter
PS - Never been to Vegas, but there's a first time for everything !!!!

Terrys feedback - TT and a Charlie tour.........please!?!?!
"Re a reunion - there has been an approach by a promoter in Las Vegas to do a show however it's not the money that's a problem it's the logistics.
Julian and Eugene live in California, John Anderson hasn't played bass for years Steve Gadd is tour manager for Iron Maiden and spends a lot of his time on tour.
Just to get us together in one room would be quite a feat"
