As most of you may know, Terry T used to be a band called The Magic Mixture.
They made their one and only album in 1968.
It seems that Terry was reminded recently of this by bass player (Mel Hacker), Terry agreeing to remake one of the songs on the album (track MOONBEAMS)
I received an email this morning from Terry, who kindly attached a copy of the remake.
Should you wish a copy (Terry is happy to share it with all), please send me an email (charliefan@hotmail.co.uk) and I'll send you a reply email with the track attached.
One a slightly different issue, Terry stated he has enough tracks for a new album but is finding it difficult to get motivated.
I'm guessing it's down to poor sales of Elysium (500ish), plus no idea of Kitchen of Distinction sales, due to that particular company disappearing without sending him any sales figures.
I would love to hear a new album from Terry/Charlie especially after the recent releases which has proved that Terry has got better as he has matured. He always had the knack to write, clever, biting, relevant catchy tunes, something he still does. KOD and Elysium sparkle with great tunes, a follow up would be great. How about going down the crowdfunding route or enlisting the help of the fans if needed.
Please tell Terry it would be much appreciated.
Thank you so much for the Moonbeams track Peter, lets hope for a Lampshades gig soon too.
